(Business Wire)  HealthTrust invites suppliers to submit new healthcare-related technology products for possible inclusion in its first Innovation Summit. The event will be held May 4 and 5, 2015, in Franklin, Tennessee.

The HealthTrust Innovation Summit is an avenue for suppliers with new technology to present their truly innovative products to service line clinical experts from within HealthTrust’s membership to determine if the products are clinically acceptable and if the financial and operational impacts are of such value to add the products to the HealthTrust contract portfolio.

The Summit is open to both currently contracted and non-contracted suppliers with new technology products directly related to patient care, information technology or supply chain management. Only products which are FDA approved, or those that have completed clinical trials, been submitted to the FDA, and are pending approval will be reviewed.

Led by HealthTrust staff and representatives from the Physician Steering Committee, Summit attendance will be open to the HealthTrust advisory board members with decision-making responsibilities in the area or category of the new technology products.
